Video: PSG’s Mauricio Pochettino Congratulates Hernán Crespo on His New Managerial Position With São Paulo

Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino is making his final preparations for the capital club’s UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash against FC Barcelona. However, in the middle of that chaos, the Argentine tactician had enough time to congratulate a friend and colleague on a new position.

TNT Sports relayed the comments made by Pochettino, who congratulated Hernán Crespo on taking over the managerial role with Brazilian side São Paulo FC. Furthermore, the 48-year-old wished his compatriot all the luck in the world as he heads into a new venture.

“It is complicated to express an opinion on this (Argentine coaches are more successful than Brazilians). I can only say that I know Hernán. First, I want to congratulate you on the great victory with Defensa y Justicia in Sudamericana, which was incredible. Congratulations on your new step, in Brazil, in São Paulo,” Pochettino said.

“He is a great friend; I have an excellent relationship. I want to send a big hug and all the luck in the world.”
