Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe so needed a goal against Nimes Olympique following his lowly performance against Lorient. And not only did Mbappe go on to score a goal, but he had one of the best scores of his season.
Following an exquisite sequence in which PSG moved into Nimes’ final third with ease, Mbappe received the ball just outside the opponent’s penalty box.
The French forward had several passing options, but he elected to instead take on a wonder curling attempt that wound up finding the back of the net.
This is Mbappe’s 15th Ligue 1 goal of the season.
This kind of a wonder goal from Mbappe can go a long way for his form, especially considering his recent struggles in league fixtures.
