Kylian Mbappé had a magical night for his first time playing at the Camp Nou. The 22-year-old scored a hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain scored four unanswered goals to defeat FC Barcelona 4-1 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matchup.
However, during the match, television cameras and microphones captured an intense moment between Mbappé and Barça left-back Jordi Alba. Diario AS transcribed the heated exchange where the France international uttered a threat to the 31-year-old.
“In the street, I’ll kill you,” Mbappé said. Alba replied, “Look what this guy is learning.” Meanwhile, Piqué, who was within distance, asked Mbappé, “what do you mean you’ll kill someone?” which led to the PSG forward, stating, “I mean, I’ll kill you in the street.”
