It took a while, but Paris Saint-Germain midfield prospect Xavi Simons now has his first career appearance with the club under his belt.
During the second half of PSG’s Coupe de France Round of 64 fixture against Caen, Mauricio Pochettino brought in Simons for a brief cameo appearance.
Simons played in 12 minutes in the match and had a low output overall. The Dutch talent recorded three passes completed and lost possession once in the match.
From here, Simons can only continue to improve and also prove to the team’s coaching staff on why he should receive more playing time opportunities this season.
