Neymar made his long-awaited return to individual training on Thursday. The Brazilian has been recovering from his left adductor injury, so this surely was a promising sign for PSG’s coaching staff to see the forward back on the pitch in some capacity.
Even though Neymar continues to make progress with his injury, he still has a long way to go before being cleared to feature in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg fixture against FC Barcelona.
According to a report from Canal+ (via Le10Sport), Neymar is currently deemed to have a 10 percent chance of being available to play against Barca early next month.
There have been no reported setbacks regarding Neymar’s recovery from his injury. Instead, PSG wants to remain cautious through every step of his recovery. PSG does not want to take any risks that would put him at risk of re-aggravating the injury.
For now, PSG will continue to monitor Neymar’s recovery from injury and now look ahead to his possible return to a collective training session.
