Report: Neymar and PSG Have Agreed to a Four-Year Contract Extension

Over the weekend, Neymar Jr. interviewed with TF1, and the 28-year-old made it clear that he would like to continue his venture in the French capital.

Well, it seems as though that will come to fruition as Brazilian football journalist Marcelo Belcher reports that Paris Saint-Germain and Neymar have agreed to an extension.

Furthermore, RMC Sport also confirms this information adding that the Brazil international will prolong his stay with the capital club for four more seasons.

This season, Les Parisiens have had to deal with the elephant in the room, the contract extension talks with their two superstar forwards, Neymar and Kylian Mbappé. It appears as though they now have one of the two done. Of the two, Neymar seemed the likeliest to extend his contract with much hassle.

PSG now needs to turn their attention to Mbappé, as Neymar has gone on the record of saying that he’d like for him to stick around. Now that his contract is reportedly agreed upon, perhaps the 28-year-old will try and convince his teammate to extend.

Nonetheless, a four-year contract with Neymar means that the capital club will have him for the rest of his prime years.
