Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Rafinha is showing his appreciation to Neymar and his continual growth in maturity as of late.

Before Rafinha reunited with Neymar at PSG, the two were teammates during their time at FC Barcelona and with the Brazilian national team. Rafinha watched up close and personal on how Neymar emerged as a hyped prospect to now one of the best attacking players in the world.

Rafinha is well familiar with both Neymar the player and the person. And with what Rafinha has seen from him over this season, the former Inter Milan talent is well impressed with how much more mature he now is.

Rafinha detailed to Le Parisien (via Le10Sport) on Neymar’s growth in maturity with PSG.

“It had been four or five years since we were no longer in the same locker room,” Rafinha said.

“He is a player and a more mature man. He is 29 years old now, time flies. I really see him as more mature.”

Neymar has certainly not only shown signs of great maturity but also in being a leader for the team, such as was on display during PSG’s UEFA Champions League knockout stage run last season.
