The coronavirus pandemic has affected Paris Saint-Germain’s financial revenue over their last two seasons. As a result, the capital club could look towards the America’s to find talent at lower prices, which is why Les Parisiens want to wrap up a deal with Gonzalo Sosa.
According to Diario AS, PSG sent representatives to meet with the Racing Club de Avellaneda board. The French giants are looking to muscle their way into buying 50-percent of the teenagers’ rights.
If the reigning Ligue 1 champions can secure that agreement with the Argentine side, they will leave the player with Racing until 2023, when the player turns 18.
PSG isn’t the only one showing interest in Sosa; Real Madrid and FC Bayern Munich monitor the situation closely. The Spanish media outlet does state that the teenagers’ dream is to play for Los Blancos.
Furthermore, there are no contract details or the sum that PSG is willing to pay to secure 50-percent of the players’ rights.
