PSG Mercato: Moise Kean Drawing Interest From Italian Club as Future With Paris SG Remains up in the Air

Moise Kean isn’t long for Paris Saint-Germain. The 20-year-old is on loan from Everton FC, and unless the capital club triggers the reported €20-million option to buy clause per France Football (via Le10Sport), Kean could be heading back to the Premier League.

Furthermore, since Mauricio Pochettino’s arrival as manager, the Argentine tactician has preferred Mauro Icardi at striker. If the 27-year-old is the player that Pochettino wants to proceed with, it won’t make sense to spend €20-million on a backup striker.

With Les Parisiens needing to address holes in other areas of their squad and money being scarce, that money could help address another position. As the pandemic continues to ravage the PSG’s financial revenue, they’ll need to be smart with off-season spending this summer.

Nonetheless, if the French giants don’t pick up his option and if a return to Everton isn’t on Kean’s mind, perhaps heading back to Italy is possible.

According to Calciomercato, AC Milan could be targeting the young striker this summer. The Italian side needs a long-term plan at that position once Zlatan Ibrahimović retires, and Kean looks to be target number one for them.
