Paris Saint-Germain has officially ruled out seven players from its upcoming Ligue 1 fixture against Nimes Olympique, the club announced on its official website.
Neymar is not dealing with any sort of an injury. Instead, the Brazilian will be unable to feature in this matchup due to a yellow card suspension. He is slated to be back for the team’s league showdown against Olympique de Marseille.
Keylor Navas will not feature in this match due to a slight right groin injury. In his place, goalkeeper Sergio Rico is now projected to earn the start for PSG.
Marquinhos is still recovering from a slight thigh issue that he picked up during the team’s match against Montpellier. The Brazilian returned to training earlier this week but PSG will keep him out of this fixture as a slight precaution.
Ander Herrera will also be a scratch for this matchup as a result of his minor muscle injury.
Marco Verratti and Abdou Diallo are still away from the team due to their positive coronavirus tests while Juan Bernat continues to rehab his ACL injury.
PSG currently stands in third place in the league standings.
