If Kylian Mbappé was in a school zone, he would probably receive a speeding ticket.
Against Olmypique de Marseille at the Orange Vélodrome on Sunday, Kylian Mbappé scored the opening goal in the 100th edition of Le Classique. The goal came off a brilliant counter from Les Parisiens and the Frenchman’s blistering speed was on full display.

According to reports, Mbappé clocked in at 36 km/h, or, 22.3 mph, which ties the mark he set last season that saw him named the fastest footballer on the planet.
There are very few defenders in the world who can keep up with that kind of pace and luckily, none of them play for Marseille.

Just watching the 21-year-old Mbappé run makes my hamstrings want to explode out of my legs. He is truly a special talent and with Neymar Jr. likely to extend his stay in the French capital, Mbappé could follow suit and remain with his hometown club.
Of course, it could all come down to how PSG performs in the UEFA Champions League this season with a tasty tie against FC Barcelona upcoming.
