Kylian Mbappe led the way for Paris Saint-Germain in its 4-0 statement win over Dijon. The French forward scored two goals in the match, including the penalty goal that gave PSG a cushion 2-0 lead.
Even with his up-and-down form as of late, Mbappe still continues to rank among the best goal-scorers and playmakers in Europe this season. Mbappe currently still leads Ligue 1 in goals with 18 to go along with his six assists.
Overall, Mbappe’s 24 total goal involvements ranks third within Europe’s top five leagues this season behind Robert Lewandowski (34) and Bruno Fernandes (25). Lewandowski currently ranks at the top in goals within Europe’s top five leagues with 28.
Mbappe is still well on par to put together what could be a 30-goal and 10-assist campaign. The French forward will have to do so over a tough second half schedule for PSG, which will include fixtures against the likes of Lille OSC and Olympique Lyonnais.
