Even after a standout UEFA Champions League performance against FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain forward Moise Kean already has a focus on the upcoming Euros.
Kean’s performance against Barca was one that surely caught the attention of both Juventus and Everton club officials. The Italian forward scored a goal in the match even as he played out on the wing, which is not his usual position.
At this point in the season, many Italian players are now aiming to put together strong performances in order to catch the attention of Italian national team manager Roberto Mancini. The Italian manager will have a difficult decision regarding who will be on the final squad list for Euro 2020.
As Kean noted (via TuttoMercatoWeb), he sure hopes that Mancini watched his performance against the Catalan giants.
“I hope he watched the game,” Kean said. “It will keep me ready for the European Championship, if I ever go.”
Kean has scored 14 goals in all competitions so far this season, including three in the Champions League. The Italian talent remains a key contributor to the team’s attacking setup.
