Neymar Jr. will reportedly extend his contract for four more seasons with Paris Saint-Germain. The extension will keep the 28-year-old in the French capital until 2026, which means the Brazil international will spend the rest of his prime year with PSG.
After the capital club’s 3-0 win over Nîmes Olympique, Presnel Kimpembe discussed the topic of Neymar extending his stay with Les Parisiens during his postgame interview with Canal Plus. The 25-year-old also touched on Kylian Mbappé continuing his tenure with PSG.
“I hope [Neymar] will extend. I have no idea; it’s happening between him and the club. I hope he will stay as long as possible because he is an essential player for the club. We know that we will need him for several years,” Kimpembe said.
“Mbappé? If it’s up to me, it’s ten years. Everyone makes their choices, but I hope it’s off to a good start for both. We need them for many more years to come.”
