Edouard Michut Reflects on What It Was Like to Make Long-Awaited PSG Debut During the Dijon Fixture

Paris Saint-Germain came away with a convincing 4-0 Ligue 1 win over Dijon on matchday 27. The fixture was just another dominating showing for the PSG players, but this result meant a bit more to one talent in particular.

Edouard Michut made his long-awaited PSG debut during the late stages of the match. The midfield talent did not do anything at all while on the pitch as he only played in one minute of the fixture.

As he told PSG TV, this was still a memorable moment in his young career so far.

“I came on at the end of the game and I hope that that will happen more and more,” Michut said. “And that will come through hard work.”

Michut has been much encouraged by his work in training sessions as of late with the PSG first-team. The French talent aspires to continue to improve along the way.

“It’s clear that I feel I’m improving, the training sessions are more intense and everything is quicker,” Michut said. “I’m training with quality players and so it’s obvious that you can improve quickly. Tonight it was short, so I didn’t have much time to express myself but yes it’s really quick.”

With Michut’s PSG debut in the bag, it will be interesting to see whether the team’s coaching staff plans to provide the talent with more playing time opportunities this season.
