Ever since Neymar Jr. made it known that he’d like to reunite with his former FC Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi, the rumors of the Argentina international arriving at Paris Saint-Germain are ongoing.

Furthermore, several people within the capital club have commented on whether they’d want to see Messi with the Parisiens. Nonetheless, the comments made by management and players over the 33-year-old has resulted in complaints from the Spanish club.

Barça presidential candidate Joan Laporta made his displeasures known over PSG’s public comments on Messi possibly heading to the French capital.

In an interview with Marca, manager Mauricio Pochettino again had to answer a question regarding Messi. However, the Argentine tactician made it known that they’re in the football business, and there are no saints in this matter.

“I respect players who belong to other teams because they can get angry, and I understand if they get mad. We know that there are no saints in the world of football. No one can complain that each club is doing its job to improve its team. But this is not a hidden message,” Pochettino said.

“Would you like to see Messi at PSG? Everything you say will be misinterpreted, and I like what I have (in my workforce). Great footballers fit into any league and any team.”

The complaints from Barça over PSG talking about Messi is a bit rich considering they’ve done the same thing when they openly spoke about Neymar Jr. Also, they’ve destabilized players in the past to have them force a move to the Spanish club.

We’ll see if the reigning Ligue 1 champions do go after Messi this summer, or it’s a way of playing mind games with Barça.
