In two games since his return, Mauro Icardi has two goals and one assist as Paris Saint-Germain defeated Stade Brestois and Olympique de Marseille. Meanwhile, Moise Kean has 11 goals in 18 appearances for the capital club.
With Icardi healthy and in the fold for Les Parisiens, starting minutes for the striker role will be competitive. During Mauricio Pochettino’s press conference, where Canal Supporters relayed his words, the Argentine tactician discussed the competition between Kean and Icardi.
“They are two talented players but with different qualities,” Pochettino said. “With all our matches to be played, we will be able to do according to everyone’s form. We are happy to find Mauro, and he will continue to work on his physical reconstruction. It’s hard to give all the players playing time; you have to be patient. All players need to feel important and be ready to play.”
