In honor of Paris Saint-Germain’s 50th season, the club has had several players from the team select who they deem to be in the greatest starting 11 in PSG’s history.
This time around, it was Neymar who picked his legendary PSG starting 11. For one, there were a few surprises in his lineup.
Neymar’s best 11 (4-4-2): Buffon; Alves, Alex, David Luiz, Maxwell; Beckham, Motta, Nenê, Ronaldinho; Weah, Ibrahimovic.

As many other talents have done so, it seemed that the Brazilian forward was picking players who he viewed as the most notable to play for PSG rather than those who made their names while at the club. For instance, Neymar left off players such as Rai and several of his teammates while at the club, such as Marquinhos and Thiago Silva.
Still, Neymar did include some PSG legends, such as Ronaldinho.
