After whiffing on multiple early goal-scoring opportunities against Montpellier, Paris Saint-Germain finally got on the scoresheet thanks to Kylian Mbappe.
The French forward came into the fixture against Montpellier with a streak of four straight fixtures without a goal. Much had been talked about his recent form, but he finally silenced those doubters with a simplistic chip goal.
Mbappe found space in Montpellier’s defensive third and after receiving a through ball from Angel Di Maria, the forward did the rest by flicking in the attempt to the back of the net.
