Paris Saint-Germain had multiple chances early on to capitalize on a goal in its Ligue 1 fixture against Angers. Still, PSG continued to waste its chances as the fixture remained at a 0-0 stalemate. But finally, PSG scored the much-needed opener thanks to fullback Layvin Kurzawa.
Following a deflection from Angers in the penalty box, Kurzawa jumped in to score a volley goal to give PSG the lead.
