Report: Tottenham Insist That PSG Transfer Target Will Not Be Departing This January Window

With the pending hiring of Mauricio Pochettino as Paris Saint-Germain manager, one name that automatically became linked to the capital club was once again Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli.

Over the summer, Les Parisiens were interested in bringing him over to the French capital; however, Spurs president Daniel Levy didn’t allow for such a move to occur because he didn’t want Alli to leave for cheap per Daily Mail

Nonetheless, with Pochettino, the former Spurs manager, taking over Les Parisiens, the rumor for the England international resurfaced, but once again, the deal is likely not going to happen.

According to the Daily Mail, Spurs insist the 24-year-old isn’t going anywhere this January despite the reported interest from PSG. The English club will not allow Alli to leave on a loan as the reigning Ligue 1 champions have made three separate attempts to land the Spurs midfielder.

It likely seems that if PSG wants to bolster their attack, they’ll have to look elsewhere.
