Paris Saint-Germain’s persistence in their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli is beginning to pay off.
According to RMC Sport, the capital club is starting to make progress for the England international, but it remains too early to call whether a deal will get done.
The French media outlet states that talks are moving in the right direction, but that doesn’t guarantee that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will let him go this winter transfer window.
Levy is reportedly reluctant to let the 24-year-old leave on loan to the French capital despite his sporadic playing time under Jose Mourinho.
With Mauricio Pochettino taking over the managerial position with the capital club, it presents someone that knows how Levy operates at the negotiating table. Furthermore, the Argentine tactician is someone he knows so there’s familiarity.
Nonetheless, there are three weeks left until the window closes, so PSG will need to push talks along if something were to occur.
