As the winter transfer window opening, players whose contracts expire in June have the opportunity to talk with other clubs and agree to pre-contracts for the 2021-22 season.
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Julian Draxler will see out the end of his contract with the capital club. Then the Germany international will look to pick and choose his next destination. One club that wants the 27-year-old is Leeds United as Gazzetta dello Sport (via The Sun) as they’re reigniting their interest in Draxler.
In September, Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa was plotting on bringing Draxler to the Premier League; however, due to the coronavirus, no situation presented the right scenario for him to leave the French capital.
