Paris Saint-Germain defender Thilo Kehrer trained on Tuesday after missing the team’s last three fixtures, according to a report from L’Equipe.
Kehrer tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month and was immediately subjected to a self-isolation period. As a result, the German defender missed PSG’s Ligue 1 fixtures against Brest and Angers along with the Trophee des Champions final against Olympique de Marseille.
Kehrer’s availability for PSG’s upcoming league fixture against Montpellier is yet to be determined.
The report also mentioned that Ander Herrera is not expected to be in training on Wednesday. The Spanish midfielder played in PSG’s recent league win against Angers, but is now dealing with a slight muscle issue. This matter is not a significant one, but the club is simply remaining cautious with Herrera’s health in order to not worsen his current minor muscle problem.
Herrera has totaled for 19 appearances in league play so far this season.
