The winter transfer window is set to open next week and some clubs are already anticipating it being one filled with multiple moves.
For one, Inter Milan is slated to part ways with midfielder Christian Eriksen. Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta recently made note of the fact that the Danish midfielder is now on the transfer list.
Inter is now waiting to see whether a suitor will come forth to push to sign Eriksen. And for the Serie A side, it currently has an eye on Paris Saint-Germain as it awaits word from the French side on if it will take the steps to jumpstart transfer negotiations for the former Tottenham midfielder, according to a report from the Italian-based outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TuttoMercatoWeb).
The report also makes a reference that if PSG does make contact with Inter for the Danish talent, the Italian side pans to discuss a possible swap deal that would send in return Leandro Paredes to play under manager Antonio Conte.
This swap deal has long been a rumored deal between the two sides. But for now, the ball is on PSG’s court as Eriksen is available for a possible transfer deal.
