PSG Rules Out Herrera from Upcoming Ligue 1 Fixture Against Montpellier

Paris Saint-Germain has ruled out midfielder Ander Herrera from its upcoming Ligue 1 fixture against Montpellier, the club announced on its official website.

The club lists Herrera as being out due to a precaution. The Spanish midfielder had missed multiple training sessions over the week due to a slight muscle issue. The club has remained cautious with his condition, and now he will not be available to face Montpellier in this upcoming league clash.

PSG will have back Rafinha and Thilo Kehrer for this fixture. Both players have missed multiple fixtures following positive coronavirus tests. But after undergoing the set self-isolation period, they each are now cleared to be available for in-game action with the team.

Rafinha and Kehrer may likely not start in this contest, but the club will have both talents as quality options off the bench.

PSG needs this win in order to keep its first place standing in the league table.
