A multitude of notable players will become free agents in the upcoming summer transfer window, including Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Julian Draxler. Draxler is expected to see multiple clubs line up to show interest in a possible free transfer agreement.
Multiple teams are already showing an early interest in signing Draxler to such a deal, including La Liga side Sevilla, according to a report from the Spanish-based outlet AS.
Sevilla sporting director Monchi has the German midfielder on his list of possible transfer targets, per the report.
Sevilla is not the only team interested in signing Draxler. The report also lists FC Bayern Munich as another club that has an early interest in the German midfielder.
On Sevilla’s part, the Spanish side is well known for signing players on bargain deals, and this potential move would coincide with Monchi’s transfer policy, especially as the club would not have to post a transfer fee to acquire Draxler.
The German talent has tallied five goal contributions in 11 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
