PSG Mercato: Pochettino Places Manchester United’s Pogba as Top Transfer Target

When Mauricio Pochettino was the Tottenham Hotspur manager, there was no denying that the Argentine tactician had to work with a tight budget. Spurs would never have the transfer budget like fellow English clubs such as Chelsea FC and Manchester United.

However, the 48-year-old is now managing Paris Saint-Germain, which will allow him to open up the wallet once the capital club passes through the coronavirus pandemic, which has affected their financial revenue.

Pochettino having a significantly better budget with Les Parisiens will allow him to pursue a transfer target that he sees will fit his system.

The new PSG manager seems to be making up for the lost time in pursuing huge signings as Pochettino is now eyeing Manchester United FC midfielder Paul Pogba to help shape his midfield for the 2021-22 season.

According to the Daily StarLes Parisiens will try and make a move for Pogba this summer, who seems to want out of Old Trafford. Nonetheless, PSG isn’t the only club looking to lure the 27-year-old midfielder as Real Madrid and Juventus monitor the situation.

Despite Pogba and Manchester United marching towards a divorce, The Red Devils won’t allow him to leave for cheap as they’re looking for a transfer fee of £75-million, or €83-million, the British newspaper reports.
