PSG Mercato: Paris Joining Juventus in Keeping Tabs on Arsenal Defender Bellerin

Over the recent summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain was heavily linked with Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin. One report noted that Bellerin had been offered to PSG, but no such deal transpired between the two sides. Instead, PSG opted to sign Alessandro Florenzi from AS Roma on a season-long loan deal to reinforce the right-back position.

Now, PSG is back in the rumor mill for Bellerin as a report from the Italian-based outlet CalcioMercato is linking the reigning Ligue 1 champions to the Spanish defender.

The report also adds Juventus and FC Barcelona as possible suitors for the Arsenal talent. Still, there have been no reports to either of these three sides aiming to seriously pursue a transfer deal for the defender.

Bellerin has been a regular for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side this season. He has recorded a trio of assists over 16 Premier League appearances this season. Even after multiple injuries in seasons past, Bellerin is back to being an available option for the Gunners out at the right-back position.

PSG currently has Florenzi, Thilo Kehrer and Colin Dagba as options to play the right-back position. Still, the club may be on the lookout for a long-term starter at the position.
