PSG Mercato: Paris Aspires to Offload Draxler and Kehrer Before the Winter Transfer Window Closes

Paris Saint-Germain still has not made any moves so far over the ongoing winter transfer window. However, the reigning Ligue 1 champions have one major task in mind as the club’s board wants to sell midfielder Julian Draxler and defender Thilo Kehrer before the window closes, according to a report from Telefoot La Chaine (via Le10Sport).

PSG will have an arduous task in finding a buyer for both players.

The report notes that the club has not yet received any offer for Kehrer. The current estimated value for the German defender is set to be at €25 million.

In Draxler’s case, he remains on the team in what is slated to be his final season at PSG. The club’s board aims at garnering even a small fee for a player who will be a free agent at the end of the season.

Both players have had their ups and downs this season. They each have had to deal with notable injuries and neither is now a regular starter under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

PSG does have the depth to move forward with the season without either player. More so, the club would surely be open to hauling in small transfer fees to shore up funds as it heads towards what may be an unpredictable summer transfer window.
