Over the recent summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain prospect Arnaud Kalimuendo elected to move to RC Lens on a season-long loan agreement. So far, it has been one promising stint for the PSG loanee.
Kalimuendo has contributed to four goals and two assists in Ligue 1 this season for the side.
With the forward’s showings so far this season, Lens is aiming to come to terms on an agreement with PSG that would keep Kalimuendo at the club for another season, according to a report from RMC Sport‘s Loic Tanzi.
Kalimuendo signed a multiyear extension deal with PSG before agreeing to this current loan move to Lens. So PSG and Lens could end up signing off on a deal that would add another loan season to the current agreement.
This could be an ideal move for Kalimuendo at this point in his career. The French talent is currently enjoying what is a strong season in his first full campaign as a regular starter with a first-team. More so, a return to PSG next season may not guarantee him playing time, especially if the club goes on to sign Moise Kean away from Everton on a permanent transfer deal.
