Assistants Jesus Perez and Miguel D’Agostino will take over for Pochettino who will miss Saturday’s clash against Angers SCO and the January 22, match against Montpellier HSC.
Pochettino’s health is the priority and everyone here at PSG Talk wishes him a speedy recovery. The secondary concern is PSG’s performance on the pitch. Not having Pochettino will have a significant impact as the team looks to overtake Olympique Lyonnais at the top of Ligue 1 and build up to the Round of 16 tie against FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.

Pochettino was named PSG manager on January 2, after Thomas Tuchel was dismissed in late December. He’s barely had any time to implement his system and now, he’ll be out for a lengthy period of time. Hopefully, his assistants can continue his messaging and Pochettino can return for the match on January 31, away at FC Lorient.
