The Mauricio Pochettino era at Paris Saint-Germain has now arrived, as the team will square off with AS Saint-Etienne in a key Ligue 1 away fixture.

PSG needs a win in this match, especially as it currently sits in third place in Ligue 1. A win would not only give Pochettino a much-needed key result to kick off his run as PSG manager, but it may give the side a first-place standing depending on the results from Lille OSC and Olympique Lyonnais’ respective fixtures on the matchday.

Overall, Pochettino is rolling with a 4-3-3 featuring these 11 talents.

Keylor Navas will start for PSG out at the goalkeeper position in this contest. The Costa Rican has been regularly recording clean sheets for the side as of late.

PSG has several defenders unavailable for this contest due to injury, but at the least, Marquinhos will lead the side’s backline in this fixture.

Pochettino will roll with a midfield trio in this contest, which will include Ander Herrera and Marco Verratti.

PSG is without Neymar due to an ankle injury. Nonetheless, Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria will slot into the winger roles in this match.

This is certainly a must-watch fixture for not only PSG fans but also for many who have been looking forward to seeing Pochettino’s debut with the club.
