While Paris Saint-Germain continues to deal with the questionable futures of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, the club also has another contract dilemma to face. Angel Di Maria is slated to become a free agent at the end of the season. Unless he signs a new deal, this will be the Argentine’s last season with PSG.
However, all signs continue to point towards Di Maria prolonging his stay with PSG.
PSG sporting director Leonardo touched upon this matter in his interview with France Football (via Le10Sport). He echoed what Di Maria has said before, which is that he wants to stay on with the club.
“Angel Di Maria is in his sixth season and wants to end his career at PSG,” Leonardo said.
Di Maria has already gone public about his desire to extend his stay with PSG. But for now, it all depends on PSG’s board on whether it wants to keep Di Maria or have him leave as a free transfer at the end of the season.
