French Football Journalist Labels PSG Sporting Director Leonardo a Dictator

Recently the Paris Saint-Germain has undergone a change that has been orchestrated by Leonardo, the club’s sporting director. The dismissal of Thomas Tuchel, who was replaced by former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Everything seems to indicate that Tuchel’s dismissal resulted from his stormy relationship with Leonardo, given these decisions that seem to be abrupt. Nonetheless, the decision shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering Leonardo has wanted to hire his manager rather than continuing with one he inherited.

The Leonardo role has upset some observers, as is the case of French football journalist Romain Molina, who painted a very dismal and dangerous portrait of the sporting director.

In a stream through Periscope, MassLive broadcast Molina’s interview, where 90min relayed his comments on Leonardo’s role as PSG sporting director.

During the broadcast, Molina didn’t hesitate to take a shot towards the Parisien leader, who he called a dictator. The French football journalist adds that all employees, but also players hate Leonardo.
