Former Brazilian forward Caio Ribeiro is joining plenty of others in stating that Neymar is currently the best player in the world today.
The PSG star is currently enjoying what has become one of the more well-rounded seasons of his career. Neymar is showing his prowess in leading the French powerhouse to wins over key opponents while also adding to his goal involvements tally with ease.
Overall, Neymar has recorded 14 goal contributions in all competitions so far this season.
It should not be much of a surprise that a former Brazilian forward like Ribeiro views Neymar as the top player in the world. Still, the former Inter Milan and Santos goal-scoring forward has his own reasoning as to why Neymar is above the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ribeiro spoke about Brazil football today to the Brazilian-based show Panico Jovem Pan and provided his thoughts on the PSG forward.
“Even if he [Neymar] has behaviors that we don’t agree with, I think he is an ace, currently the best player in the world,” Ribeiro said. “He plays more balls than Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi.”
Neymar is sure putting together quite a noteworthy season over the ongoing campaign as both a goal-scorer and playmaker.
