Paris Saint-Germain’s UEFA Champions League fixture against Istanbul Basaksehir was put on delay following an alleged racial incident during the game. The fourth official in the contest was accused by a Basaksehir coach of using racist language.
Pierre Webo, former Cameroonian attacker, was the assistant coach & individual sent off & who is understood to have been the victim of racist language on the part of the 4th official. Demba Ba led his teammates to refuse to continue play.

Players from both PSG and Basaksehir confronted not only the fourth official but the other referees in the game as well. However, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel appeared to get into a slight argument with a Basaksehir player over the incident.

Tuchel appeared to attempt to downplay the incident, which confused the Basaksehir player as to why he was taking this angle.
The fixture remains in delay for the moment.
