Paris Saint-Germain had a disappointing attacking outing in its Ligue 1 fixture against Lille OSC. But from a defensive standpoint, it was a brilliant display from Marquinhos and Presnel Kimpembe.
For Kimpembe, he helped keep Lille to a low three total shots on target for the game. Kimpembe recorded two tackles, five ground duels won and two dribble attempts completed.
Kimpembe suffered an injury following his last-second sliding tackle in the late stages of the game that prevented Lille from orchestrating a clear-cut goal-scoring chance. Still, it was one of the best performances of Kimpembe’s season so far.
