Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has received criticism all season from various journalists, pundits, and supporters over the capital club’s Ligue 1 season. Les Parisiens find themselves fighting with Lille OSC, Olympique de Marseille, Olympique Lyonnais, and Montpellier HSC are hanging around the top five.
The play of PSG has resulted in many calling for PSG to sack Tuchel with Mauricio Pochettino and Massimiliano Allegri currently unemployed. Despite the heat that the German tactician is facing, former PSG left-back Maxwell is coming to his defense during an interview with Téléfoot La Chaîne.
“He has a good relationship with the team and with the club. He is a coach who is demanding with all in relation to performance. He is a coach who knows how to motivate players,” Maxwell. ” I think he showed his quality, he arrived and won everything in France, he arrived in the Champions League final, the team ‘performed’ really well, they almost won the Champions League. He deserves a lot more credit than he gets now.”
