The rumors of Lionel Messi possibly arriving at Paris Saint-Germain cause plenty to speculate over the next few months as the 33-year-old decides whether to remain with FC Barcelona.
Capital club forward Neymar Jr. has made it known that he’d like to play with his former teammate. Now with the pending arrival of manager Mauricio Pochettino, the rumors will only get louder.
RMC Sport journalist Daniel Riolo appeared on the YouTube channel, Bruce & Brak, where he gave his thoughts on Messi arriving in the French capital this summer.
“Messi at PSG? Paris will really do everything to make him come. Afterward, PSG must, first of all, settle the Mbappé case. He stays, he leaves? This is an important issue. But Messi is at the end of his contract. Barça has no more money,” Riolo said.
“The club can no longer pay Messi’s astronomical salary. So as I said before, Messi in Paris is possible! Afterward, you must always be wary when it comes to transfers, especially in such a big case. But Messi is fed up with Barça, and PSG will try their luck.”
