As now-former Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has officially departed from the club, many can look back at the highs and lows of his run with the team. PSG under Tuchel continued to dominate in domestic competitions and even made an appearance in the UEFA Champions League final.
PSG can look back at the Tuchel era as being one where Neymar stepped up his game. The Brazilian was provided responsibilities in playing as a winger, central attacking midfielder, and center forward in many key fixtures. And he delivered time and time again.
As the stats show, Neymar shined under Tuchel as both a goal-scoring forward and a playmaker.
Neymar under Tuchel:
🏟 65 Games
⚽️ 52 Goals
🅰️ 25 Assists77 G/A in 65 Games (1.18)
Helped Neymar showcase his brilliant playmaking abilities, had a great relationship with the player & was overall a top manager 👏🏼 pic.twitter.com/NLmuLFdPwg

The 77 goal contributions for Neymar in essentially two and a half seasons under Tuchel is quite an impressive figure. The star forward sure had his way in all competitions, as Tuchel let the Brazilian take control of fixtures at will.
