Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel’s contract expires at the end of the season. As a result, plenty of speculation is surfacing over what manager the capital club will pursue. However, there’s also speculation of where the German tactician will head in the summer.

According to BILD football journalist Christian Falk, who tweeted out that the rumors of Manchester United FC having an interest in Tuchel are true, which spells bad news for current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

The Red Devils find themselves fifth in the Premier League table and control their destiny in the UEFA Champions League. A win over RB Leipzig puts them into the competition’s Round of 16. Nonetheless, falling into Europa League and remaining outside of a Champions League spot could spell the end for Solskjær.

Perhaps leaks of interest in the Parisian manager will motivate the Norwegian to produce results that will keep his job. Otherwise, the German manager could become the newest hire to lead Manchester United.
