In a recent report by Diario AS, Los Blancos continue to play the waiting game. They’re lying in the weeds, ready to bounce and begin negotiations that will bring the France international to the Spanish capital.
Furthermore, the media outlet states that it favors a potential move to Real Madrid as time continues to pass. Despite PSG sporting director Leonardo trying to say that talks are progressing, the clock starts to tick louder.
If there’s no contract extension, then the capital club needs to make sure they get a significant fee for their star forward to help address the squad’s needs.
As time is beginning to look as though it’s on their side, Real Madrid is starting to secure funds through the sales of players that don’t have a future with them. We will see what the next few months for Mbappé and whether he will choose to stay home or head to Spain.
