Report: Mbappé Makes Conditional Demand to PSG in Contract Extension Talks

Kylian Mbappé is coming off scoring his 100th goal for Paris Saint-Germain, and although the capital club is celebrating this accomplishment, the elephant in the room remains his contract.

During an interview with Canal Plus, PSG sporting director Leonardo stated that talks are progressing, but eventually, decisions need to occur as the summer draws near. With Real Madrid always lurking, Les Parisians need to know whether it’s time to sell to bring in funds to improve the squad.

Nonetheless, Le Parisien reports that if he were to extend his contract, he wants a more significant say in sporting decisions. The French media outlet adds that Mbappé will not judge if PSG’s leaders decide to go a different direction, but as long as he’s part of the process.

These demands aren’t insanely wild as plenty of superstars in different sports want to be apart of roster decisions. Furthermore, it seems as though the players are doing their part in convincing the 21-year-old to remain in Paris.
