In the midst of Paris Saint-Germain celebrating Kylian Mbappé’s 100th goal, the capital club threw out a press release that they’d be parting ways with winger Jesé Rodríguez as both parties mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
With the winter transfer window set to open in a few weeks, Jesé might want to move elsewhere if he wants to play in 2020-21, even if he has to sacrifice his cushy salary with PSG to get some playing time elsewhere.
Then more news started to trickle out as to why Les Parisiens might have found a way to terminate his contract because of off-the-pitch transgressions. The 27-year-old already put the club in a bad light when the Daily Mail displayed pictures of him on vacation in the middle of a pandemic as France experienced a second wave of the coronavirus.
Now it seems as though Jesé finds himself in a scandal where he’s being accused of infidelity, and it doesn’t help that his girlfriend is a reality star and can air out their love life in public. TalkSport and other British tabloids reported on an episode of “La Casa Fuerte” that this case of infidelity came to light.
Overall all these issues were enough for PSG to say they’ve had enough of a Jesé, considering he doesn’t play. As a result, arguably, the tenure of the worst transfer of the capital club’s history comes to an end.
