After the firing of Thomas Tuchel, Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino will be taking over the Paris Saint-Germain managerial position, according to RMC Sport’s Mohamed Bouhafsi

Both parties are reportedly discussing the final details before making the hiring official. One hurdle that they’ve cleared is the financial compensation of Pochettino.

Paris Fans report that the capital club will give the Argentine manager a two and a half year contract with a dismissal clause worth €9.5-million.

The French media outlet doesn’t offer any specific dollar figures in terms of the deal, but his pay will be relatively low for the remainder of this season to compensate for the firing of Tuchel.

Sky Sport journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted out that the dismissal of Tuchel will cost PSG €6-million as the capital club triggered an early termination clause.

Finally, when it comes to player approval, Neymar Jr., Kylian Mbappé, and Mauro Icardi are all expressing opinions about Pochettino’s pending arrival, with Icardi being delighted about the decision.
