Report: Former PSG Forward Focusing on a Return to Las Palmas

Former Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese is hoping to soon sign with La Liga 2 side Las Palmas, according to a report from the Spanish-based outlet Marca.

Jese is currently a free agent after he was released from his PSG contract earlier this month. Jese was slated to become a free agent next year, but both sides agreed to terminate his contract before the start of the winter transfer window.

Jese is eligible to sign with any team on a free transfer deal.

Marca adds that Jese has offered himself to Las Palmas, and the now-former PSG forward has been in touch with club president Miguel Angel Ramirez.

Las Palmas manager Pepe Mel reportedly wants the club to sign a forward over the upcoming transfer window, but it is not known whether he would want Jese to jump on board with the team.

Las Palmas would have to release a player from its 25-man squad if it aims to bring in Jese.

Jese played with Las Palmas over the 2016-2017 season, where he tallied three goals in 16 appearances in all competitions.
