Former Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese is already eyeing one club on whom he would like to join soon. The Spanish talent is hoping to soon sign with La Liga 2 side Las Palmas, according to a report from the Spanish-based outlet Marca.
Jese is currently a free agent after being released from his PSG contract earlier this month. Jese was slated to become a free agent next year, but both sides agreed to terminate his contract before the start of the winter transfer window. Thus, Jese is now eligible to sign with any team on a free transfer deal, which the signing club would then not have to post a fee to acquire the forward.
Jese is vying for Las Palmas to be among those clubs that will push for such a deal. The Marca report adds that Jese has offered himself to the club for a free transfer agreement. The report further provides information that Jese has already had contact with Las Palmas president Miguel Angel Ramirez.
More so, Las Palmas manager Pepe Mel wants the club to sign a forward over the upcoming transfer window, but it is not known whether he would want Jese to jump on board with the club.
However, the report also adds that Las Palmas would have to release a player from its 25-man squad to facilitate for this possible deal.
Jese played with Las Palmas over the 2016/2017 season where he mounted for 16 appearances and three goals in all competitions.
