Neymar is the First Player Ever to Score 20 Champions League Goals for Two Different Teams

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has been continually making UEFA Champions League history as of late. The Brazilian hit on another achievement in his Champions League career during PSG’s recent group stage fixture against Istanbul Basaksehir.

Neymar notched three goals in the contest, which gave him 20 Champions League goals in his PSG career. Neymar had already scored 21 Champions League goals over his run with FC Barcelona. And overall, he is now currently the first and only player in Champions League history to score at least 20 goals with two different teams.

Neymar has scored his 20 Champions League goals with PSG over 25 appearances while his 21 goals with Barcelona were logged over 40 appearances.

This is quite an impressive record to hold in the Champions League, although one other player may soon join him. Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo scored 105 goals during his Real Madrid career and has currently logged 14 goals with the Italian side.

Still, this is just another grand feat in Neymar’s time in the Champions League.
