Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has been voted UEFA Champions League player of the week for matchday six following his performance against Istanbul Basaksehir.
PSG came into the fixture needing a win to clinch Champions League Group H. Neymar not only led his team to triumph with a 5-1 win over the Turkish side but also dazzled with one of the best Champions League performances of his PSG career. The Brazilian scored three goals, created a pair of goal-scoring chances for teammates, won 12 ground duels and completed five dribble attempts.
More so, Neymar also won Champions League Goal of the Week honors thanks to his outside-the-box score against Basaksehir. It was a score that Basaksehir just could not do much to prevent.
