‘Neymar Does Not Have a Place at Barça’ – Barcelona Presidential Candidate Remains Bitter Over PSG Forward’s Departure

Ever since his departure from FC Barcelona in 2017, there’s always constant rumors concerning a possible Neymar Jr. return to the La Liga club.

The closest that the 28-year-old came to returning to Barça was over the summer of 2019, but the Brazil international ultimately remained with Paris Saint-Germain. With the resignation of Josep Maria Bartomeu as president of Barça, the constant chatter of Neymar returning could begin to quiet.

Well, if a particular presidential candidate for the Catalan club is elected, not only would shut the door on the Neymar saga, but he’d lock it and throw away the key.

During an interview with RAC1Victor Font, one of the presidential candidates for Barça, made it clear that Neymar has no place at the club after the difficult situation he put them in after his departure in 2017.

“Neymar does not have a place at Barça,” Font said. “He could fit in from a sporting point of view, but financially Barça cannot afford it; institutionally, he left us lying a few days before the start of a season and is in litigation with Barça.”

Hopefully, Font wins Barça’s elections that way, the constant rumors of Neymar returning are over.
